Is it Portra 800 in disguise? It certainly shares many of the lovely colours and is just as dynamic in low-light, but at a slightly cheaper cost. Of course, the cassette is all plastic and therefore best for manual cameras but if you can tick that box, you're not going to be disappointed by how lovely this film looks. While I will always continue to buy Portra 800, I will also be making sure I pick up some Aura alongside it (or whenever I'm poor).

I found this film when looking for a cheaper alternative to Portra 800. I was certainly not disappointed when I used it in a variety of lighting conditions both indoors and outdoors. It has the usual graining you would expect from an 800 film but nothing too distracting. All in all a great value film suitable for any conditions and at a cheaper price point to Portra.

Used this film in a dark video game exhibit at a museum and out doors. Was really good in both situations. Grain is more obvious in low light but still an amazing film to use.

didn’t expect these photos to turn out so good, but this film is great for both portraits, landscapes and architecture. will be definitely buying this one again!

Haven’t always had the best results experimenting outside the big brand films, but really happy with the results of this one!
