Film alone can be expensive, let alone the developing, scanning, printing costs, etc. I switched to only shooting C41 films (including XP2 for black and white) and develop all of my film at home now using this kit, then I use a second hand Epson scanner and it saves me so much money. Be aware that you'll need your own tank, thermometer, measuring jug, bottle opener, a black-out space or bag, etc., but it really is very easy. I do everything over the sink!
