A festive treat for Analogue Wonderland customers!

A panchromatic negative high resolution film, coated onto a transparent polyester base which dries super flat for easy scanning and storing!
Let It Snow also has a high-efficiency protection layer on top of its emulsion to prevent scratching.
The spectral sensitivity of Let It Snow is expanded into the near infrared range of the energy spectrum. Its spectral sensitivity to up to 750 nm. Due to its very fine grain, its explicit detail rendering and its ability to be processed at low contrast, this film produces low grain and very low noise when scanned. The film should be handled in near to complete darkness.
Notes from "Let It Snow" shooter Leslie Lazenby:
"Let It Snow" has a thin polyester base, is panchromatic, is true 100 speed and dries super flat. I home-processed in Xtol stock - 7 minutes @ 68 degrees, 5 seconds agitation twice every minute. (Michael Raso's home process has been Kodak D-76 - stock - 6 minutes @ 68 degrees)"
Keep your film Light Tight!
This film stock is subject to "light piping" when exposed to room light. Please load in dim light and store in a dark camera bag before and after shooting. If storing your film in fridge, freezer or home shelf, store in a light tight bag as well.
FPP is short-hand for the Film Photography Project: a US-based collection of projects headed up by the charismatic Mike Raso. They are most famous within the global film community for their podcast (entering it's 10th year in existence) as well as the associated School Camera Donation Program whereby donations are sought and sorted to bring analogue photography back into high schools and colleges all over the country.
Not only that but Mike also runs the FPP store which sells a multitude of analogue film products all over the US and hand-rolls a fantastic selection of unique films. We are honoured to bring some of those films to the European market and hope you enjoy shooting them as much as Mike has making them!

Wasn’t sure what to expect from this film but it produced some nice tones and contrast. I developed in stock XTOL for 7 minutes. Didn’t get the exposure bang on but have a second roll on the way now I’ve a better idea of how to handle it.
As this film was brand new, the data online regarding development was limited so when it came to developing it was a risk taken. I developed in Ilfosol 3 1+9 for 11 minutes which worked brilliantly for the images where I had a nice contrast between the areas with snow and the areas without.
It is a beautiful theme in my opinion, very soft looking, and creates a nice depth in contrast between light and darks which works great for landscapes. I am definitely going to purchase again in the future to photograph other scenarios and play around with developing times as for dark scenes 11 minutes could be too much, and bright scenes it didn't seem to be enough in the way the bright sky and some areas of snow developed. But all in all, a process and film I enjoyed.
A little confusion to dev dimes for this film I settled on D76 My exposures were in the main incorrect except for a couple on the roll and they could have been improved. I will need to try this film again in a more controlled matter to be able to evaluate this fully
