Bring your black-and-white photos to life withThe Mummy, the exciting new high-speed, panchromatic BW film from the Film Photography Project!
This medium-grain, medium contrast film with an iso of 400 is as ideally suited for striking portrait photography as it is for street photography and action shots! The Mummy is a negative film stock (on a triacetate base) formulated from our FPP Cine16 400 film.
The Mummy 2022 Limited Edition Monster film from the Film Photography Project – it is supernaturally good. (I'm sorry, I'm contractually obliged to crowbar at least one terrible Halloween reference into the description...)
FPP is short-hand for the Film Photography Project: a US-based collection of projects headed up by the charismaticMike Raso. They are most famous within the global film community for their podcast (entering it's 10th year in existence) as well as the associated School Camera Donation Program whereby donations are sought and sorted to bring analogue photography back into high schools and colleges all over the country. Not only that but Mike also runs the FPP store which sells a multitude of analogue film products all over the US and hand-rolls a fantastic selection of unique films. We are honoured to bring some of those films to the European market and hope you enjoy shooting them as much as Mike has making them!

Fun and atmospheric
I received this film in an Analogue Wonderland Mystery Box. I'm glad I did, as it gave me a chance to try a film I probably wouldn't have otherwise.
The contrasts are low and moody, and the tones rich without being too strong. The shots definitely give off the vibe of a classic monster movie and I'd give it a solid recommendation for anyone who's curious.

Creatures All In Search of Film
When darkness falls across the land and shadows start to gather, then you definitely want at least an ISO 400 film-as ever, the Mummy is beautifully packaged by the lovely people at the FPP. It proved to have a rich, punchy rendering, which was just perfect for a snowy day in early March. Ilfotec LC-29 was a great match for the film, though I really look forward to trying it with my new favourite, 510-Pyro A rewarding experience and I look forward to trying it in 120!

Gloomy
I personally quite liked this shadowy and gloomy vibe. I wish I had a better camera to shoot this with, but nevertheless, I like the result. Plus, very nice packaging. Worth to try it.

Moody
What a good addition to already great black-and-white film universe. There's plenty of deep shadows and striking contrasts. Definitely prefer than it's on more darker/shadowy setting, compared to sunny ones.
