Fuji is one of the most famous Japanese global brands - and along with Eastman Kodak - dominated the film photography market for most of the 20th century. However the dawn of digital photography put significant strain on it's operations and it has restructured itself (and part-merged with Xerox) around a more diverse set of industries such as digital press, computer systems, and photocopying services. It's focus on traditional film has waned (giving rise to the nickname "FujiNOTfilm") - discontinuing several lines which has caused understandable upset among loyal users and planning to cut several more. However their creation and innovation of the Fuji Instax system (the most popular instant photography format today) means they will remain relevant to analogue photography for many years to come.

So sad it's gone...

Probably one of the best colour films ever made. I was lucky enough to have a few rolls in stock. Amazing film especially for events and so sad that Fuji decided to stop its production.

Fuji 400H

I had a 5 pack of this film in the fridge for a while, and finally broke it out on a recent holiday. It has a fine grain structure for a 400 speed film, and to my eye give a pretty neutral palate of colour. In my case, scanning with an Epson V600 scanner I found that I had to reduce the blue (increase the yellow) a little to get the results that I liked. If you get the change - shoot a roll! :) Cheers All - Andy T

If you find some shoot it at 200

That extra stop of light really helps is shine. I miss those Fuji greens.

Nice colours, but other films are better

I have used this film a few times. Its a lovely film, lovely muted colours so I didn't find it as vibrant as other similar films, but I feel other are better, including the Kodak Portra 400, but definitely worth having a roll or two in your stock pile.

A bit muted

I guess that's what happens when you shoot an expired film... Nevertheless, results came out alright. It's just lacks this certain punch, in terms for colours.
