To start off I admit that my sample photo is on the other texture of paper but still it's Ilford FB.
I don't really make paper negatives, but as I had some FB paper lying around I thought I'd give it a go. It seems to have worked though the result was insanely contrasty.
As a normal darkroom paper I use FB occasionally but it's tricky to work with as it requires lots of fixing and washing.
Although this paper is more expensive than RC papers, and it can take from 5-10 minutes in the fixer as opposed to the maybe 1-3 minutes of RC, this paper will last. It also gives you a wonderful vintage feel, as early papers were fibre based.
I don't really like the finish of this paper compared to glossy, but glossy fibre paper is readily available too.

Paper costs the earth these days but this paper almost makes that ok!
