As a photographer first, I felt like ISO 50 was going to be way too low for anything but the brightest conditions, but as it turns out, 50D is much more versatile than I gave it credit for - and in fact - I like it best at sunset. It produces the most glorious golden colours.

Yes absolutely! Just make sure you've got lots of light. Shouldn't be too much of an issue in summer :-)
