Words can’t do this beauty justice

Can’t describe what an amazing film this is - handles overexposure beautifully. Highly Reccomend.

Utterly Insane - if you can get a 5 pack, snap it up

Just getting back into film, and have experimented with a few different recipes and films.

My god, the Portra is the most stunning one going. Handles a bit of overexposure beautifully - shot mine at about ISO 300. Portraits in this are some of the best shots I’ve ever taken. It’s got a pretty price tag to boot - so don’t waste it - but it’s going to give you some of the nicest shots you’ve ever taken if you treat it right.

one of the best

lovely colours and always comes out great, obviously expensive but it is really nice and can sometimes find a good deal

Beautiful

I love this film. It gives great colours and is very forgiving over a wide variety of lighting conditions. I trust it completely to give a good exposure every time. Portra 160 is a bit better for skin tones but this 400 does pretty well for portraits and the extra speed makes it more versatile.

I’ve used all of the Kodak Portra emulsions over the years, in both 35mm and 120mm format and they are all great.
Not the cheapest colour film, but very much worth it.

First time shooting Portra 400

Nice all-rounder. Plus fine grain for a higher speed film.
