Used a newly acquired Pentax Super A to photograph Bluebird K7 at Coniston. I have not photographed with a 35mm Pentax since the late 80's, so I messed up the results. Of the images that did work, I was very happy with the different rendering the Pentax gave vs my Canon.
Bluebird K7 - A 60's icon deserves to be photographed in Film
Purchased a number of different ISO film stock to photograph Bluebird K7 on Coniston Water in May 2026. Portra 400 was a perfect film for capturing changing lighting conditions. Rally pleased with the results. Vivid bright Blue's and Reds, nicely subdued green with an unmistakable 35mm look you just can't get from digital. When you have a subject like this, 35mm does it real justice.

first roll of film in more than 20 years
my first roll of film in more than 20 years, i went for what people where saying was the best colour film, and tried it in as many different situations as i could, i wanted to see what it could do and what it couldn't, i love it! it handled all the things i asked of it brilliantly, even my dubious attempts at focusing! have bought another roll and i am working through that!
