Long Weekend Santa Fe Camera Bag

Great little bag. Able to fit a few rolls in the front pocket with a full size SLR in the main compartment + a lens. The front drawstring pocket is useful for your lens cap. Would recommend.

A shocking excuse for a camera bag. No padding, no dividers. It’s big enough for 2 camera but they would be rubbing off each other with no protection. I have to presume the other reviews are from the manufacturer. If I just wanted a bag, I’d find better quality in primark. It will be returned. DO NOT BUY!

This is a fab bag, fits film, camera and whatever else I need to fit in.

So pleased to see Long Weekend bags on the AW site, as importing them is not a great option with the postage costs. I chose the Moss green one as it doesn't look much like a camera bag and as the inside is grey it's easy to see the inside contents. Nice sturdy material and fits in quite a bit of stuff considering the size. Lightweight and durable so perfect for a day out shooting.

Got this as a more weatherproof everyday bag. Its a great everyday bag, took a hammering in the rain and everything inside stayed dry. I wouldnt carry 2 cameras in it, however as there is no padding, and everything inside does bang around together. But it can fit loads.

This bag is deceivingly big. I managed to fit:
(In the main compartment)
Nikon L35AF
Partners Fujifilm Insta camera thingy
an iPad Air 5
...and there was still ample amount of room for other things
There's also an inside pocket within the main compartment, which is a nice place to store pens, cloths, and a little notebook.

In the front pocket (the velcro one):
The Kodak Film Case - 5x 35mm (which you can buy on here) fits at a slight diagonal and is snug and secure.

The drawstring front pocket:
I didn't really have anything to go here, so a small Pikachu plush occupies the spot and it's where all my pins are going. NOTE BEFORE USING PINS ON THIS AREA: The traditional clasp pin backs are useless in this area, and you will cry from all your lost pins. Change these to grippy backs and you'll be fine.

Quality of the bag is really, really good. The zip is an absolute dream and can be used 1 handed. The strap feels secure.

Only downside is it collects cat hair, but I mean, cat hair gets everywhere anyway so there's nothing new there.

I've actually got this bag in tan & black and honestly it's one of my fav purchases ever for film. I use it to carry all my daily essentials. A compact film camera & a heap of film. Awesome stuff

Really happy with this bag. It’s well made and well designed. Feels good quality and is actually more roomy than it looks. Great for a point and shoot or two, plus film, keys, phone etc. Great for days when you want to travel light.

In short this bag is fantastic and near enough perfect, I’ll go into more detail now.

I’ve been wanting this bag for around 1/2 months now and I couldn’t get it anywhere without paying half the price of the bag which i couldn’t bring myself to do. The main reason I wanted this is so I can stop lugging round a small bag with my F3 which over time can get uncomfortable. I’m currently in Australia and luckily found a really nice shop (walkens Melbourne) that stocked this so I jumped at the chance. The bag is a great size it’s big enough to fit my Nikon f3 comfortably and easily a second SLR but would be a push. Lots of pockets to store whatever you need, I have my wallet tote bag and 3 rolls of film currently in there and it fits just fine.

I picked this up as an alternative option to compliment my existing peak design bag collection, and I’m pleased that I did!

Pro’s:
Good size for everyday carry, but low profile and doesn’t scream “camera bag” to the untrained eye.
Good quality materials for the main bag itself.
Nice retro design aesthetic.

Cons:
Bag material has the tendency to pick up hair/fluff, so you’ll need to use a lint roller occasionally (especially if you have cats!)
Strap buckle does not rotate, which dependent on how you wear the bag, may not allow it to sit entirely flat (minor issue).
Lack of padding means you have to be careful when putting the bag down etc.

Overall I would recommend the bag to anyone looking for a small, good looking and highly functional bag, to carry their everyday camera.

I have both the black and the creme multi versions of these bags. Didn't buy them from AW as they weren't available at the time but wish I had as they're so much cheaper than importing them. I literally use these bags every time I go out. They fit heaps of film a little notepad and pen and a compact camera alongside nappies (For the bab not me haha) in no problem. Also really good for carrying a Polaroid SX-70. Neither one has broken in anyway after having them for a year. Hugely recommend these funky little bags. So chuffed AW have them in stock now. might have to get the bum bag & film bag at some point.
