I really loved this film! Although it's quite expensive to get processed, I would like to try it again. The portraits came out gorgeous, and I feel it performed exceptionally well in all types of lighting, from cloudy to bright sun, sunset, shaded areas, and indoors. I often worried that it was getting too dark or shaded, but the images came out well, and the colours pop in a nice, soft way. Going to trial some cheaper options before going back to this film but i can't wait to use it again!

Negatives converted to digital with macro lens and in camera negative to positive. Images have a greenish tinge but easily corrected in post production. Good colour saturation and shadow detail can be brought out. Didn't get prints so no idea how good they would be from the negatives. Will try the 50D film at some point.

I love the photos I got back! Everything feels very cinematic.

Worth the wait (and extra cost) of development, produces wonderfully sharp shots and loves daylight. Will definitely take a couple of rolls with me on future holidays.

real motion picture vibes with this roll, is beauriful in direct sunlight, has a faint greenish hue in the shadows. would definitely shoot again!

Such great colours and love the look of the photos, the results turn out great.
Developing does take a little longer than regular colour film but it’s totally worth it.

Although development takes longer and costs more it is definitely worth it!

ISO of 250 makes this very versatile. The colours, detail and skin tones really speak for themselves

I have only shot PORTRA 160/400 a handful of times and instantly fell in love. Therefore, like many film photographer I am looking for a more economical alternative. I have some Kodak Gold and Pro Image 100 that are amongst my films to try as a replacement but Vision3 250D was my first go to. This film has the warmth of Kodak films but also a hint of the Fuji greens.
Overall I am happy with this film and it makes a great affordable portra, although not good enough to be a complete replacement.
This film deserves 5 stars but I have given it 4 as it is slightly below portra 160 (better than portra 400 however)

Last of the three rolls I bought of this film and took it on an outing to London. It handled the hard winter sunshine nicely and the colours look vibrant with good levels of contrast.

I really enjoy using it and shot a whole portrait session on it. So beautiful in backlight!

Loved the texture, colour and clarity. If you don’t mind the extra development time it’s a preferred choice for that cinematic feel. I tried it on a 1930s camera and lens and I’m really tempted to get another roll to try on my Canon A-1 and FD lenses to complete the pre digital feature film look.
