Choose Your Super 8 Processing Package
We have six different processing packages depending on your specific needs, and the end use of the film you've shot.
The packages are split by (a) the required resolution and compression (b) whether you want the film Full Frame or Overscan.
The summary of film resolution, file size and type is as follows:

Full Frame vs Overscan
Full frame is the native format of Super 8 movie film: it has an aspect ratio of 4:3 and only covers the image within each frame. Overscan includes the sprocket on the side of each image for an authentic analogue look, which extends the ratio to widescreen 16:9.
The price is the same for Full Frame / Overscan at each quality level - the choice is purely aesthetic for you!

Colour Grading
Every Super 8 Home Movie will be colour-graded by a professional technician with knowledge of the emulsion used. This will result in an authentic look for your film that matches the intended aesthetic of the manufacturer.
If you wish to do more detailed colour grading then please let us know and we can quote custom prices for bespoke work.

I sent my kodak vision 3 200t to Analogue Wonderland for super 8 processing. It was relatively easy to post it to them but I was a little bit confused on how it worked. It turns out all I had to do was create a Royal mail lable from the email they sent me. Then show the QR code to the people at the parcle shop. My scans arrived within a week which came as a surprise but it took two more weeks to get my negatives back. I contacted Analogue wonderland through the chat, the man who worked there got back to me very quickly and said they had some delays but as a good will gesture they refunded some of the delivery cost and got it sent out right away. Overall I have had a positive experince from the staff and the outcome of my charming super 8 film which makes for lovely memories.
I have a very old (approx 40-50 years) Kodak Super8 Cartridge (KAI-II) Kodakchrome II Color Movie Film which is undeveloped. Could this be processed?

Hi Polly, do you mean the film spool? If so, they aren't returned as default but if you leave a note on your order or email help@analoguewonderland.co.uk with your request, we'll be sure to send it back to you :) If you mean negatives, these are returned 7-9 days after you recieve your scans, but can be sent sooner if you let us know.
