Kodak Ektacolor PRO Film Range is now available

By Paul McKay

A fresh expansion to the brand new Eastman Kodak output has landed in our store: their Ektacolor PRO range is designed for the most discerning photographers 🧐

High grain, fantastic colours, and a choice of format (35mm / 120) as well as ISO (160 / 400 / 800), there should be an Ektacolor PRO film for everyone!

Let's take a look at some of the incredible sample photos...

Ektacolor PRO 160

Coastal landscape with rocky outcrops and ocean waves.

Winter scene with a horse-drawn carriage on a snowy path near a gazebo.

White cherry blossoms against a clear blue sky

Available in both 35mm and 120 medium format, Ektacolor PRO 160 is the 'slowest' film in the PRO range. Perfect for bright sunny days and studio shoots.

Ektacolor PRO 400

Colorful apartment building with balconies against a blue sky.

Person wearing a white t-shirt with black text and graphics, holding colorful bracelets on a blurred outdoor background.

Busy street scene in an urban area with colorful billboards and vehicles.

Person sitting at a table in a modern cafe with large windows

Kodak Ektacolor PRO 400 (available in 35mm and 120) is the workhorse of the range - a film speed that sits comfortable in sunlight and dusk, able to cope with highlights and a friend for the evening.

Ektacolor PRO 800

Person standing in tall grass with a blurred background

Two large rock formations reflected in calm water on a beach.

Pathway leading to a beach with trees on a sunny day

Manhattan Bridge over the East River with boats and city skyline in the background

I already love this film 😭 Available in 35mm and 120 medium format, Kodak Ektacolor PRO 800 is for when you are facing low light and need to guarantee knockout results.

When you've shot your first rolls of this new Ektacolor range then don't forget to get your films developed promptly to lock in the beautiful colours and details!
