A bit underwhelming

Didn't love this film, felt a bit muted and had less halation than I was hoping for and was grainier than I expected.
I feel like I could have achieved a similar result with filter options and preferrable stock. In its defense I didn't quite find the right day or situation for it and maybe this would have worked better in Kodak Gold territory

I loved it!

I see a lot of people didn't like this. I'm quite the opposite. I did. I personally liked it's muted colour palette which pairs up quite nicely with greens and forest. Makes it look quite rustic. Would recommend to others to try it.

Muted colours and heavy grain

I really like the big grain on this film. I wasn't sure about the colours at first, because from the name "Glow" I was expecting a warm feel to the images, but the washed out tones won me over after a while.

From the roll I shot, I felt it suited bright contrasty scenes best.

pretty but probably better for landscape

unfortunately used this in low light and indoors when it’s probably suited to bright outdoor environments. it still got some nice photos but any grievances are mostly my fault.

Different in a rather good way

I didn't get the vivid colours the filmstock claims, what I did get was a very nice undersaturated colour palette with a distinct, yet controlled grain structure. The effect these two factors give is, at times, almost painterly.

It's not a stock for all situations at all, but it most certainly does have a place, and it's nice to see stock as experimental as this on the market. My only issue was that for a claimed 27 shots, I only got 26 from my Canon A1 (which is normally on the money in terms of frames per roll).
