Great Contrast

This was my first time using this film on my Pentax KX but really love the outcome, great contrast and love the graininess. Really happy.

Amazing contrast

This is the one b&w film that nails the contrast and gives that crunchy grainy aesthetic. Pricier but for a reason.

Nice grain texture.

I'd taken these shots with an OM10 I'd been given, which I'd managed to get working. I wasn't sure how the photos would turn out, as I wasn't even sure if the camera would work properly. I was pleasantly surprised with the outcome. I really like the grainy high contrast look. It was really foggy when these photos were taken, so there wasn't a lot of light available. It's great for atmospheric moody shots.

Tri-X perfection

Tri-X is fast becomimg my favourite film. Smooth and contrasty at box speed, but I’ve also had great results with crunchier grain when it’s pushed to 1600, allowing me to use a slower lens (the Rollei 35TE, minimum aperture f3.5) in low light.

Growing on me

I didn't like this film at first. Not sure why, just didn't know how to handle it.

But now it's growing on me. I think I'll stick to 120 on this film though, for less noticeable grain.
