AgfaPhoto APX 100 is a slow black-and-white film. This 35mm film is well-suited to architecture, landscape and still life photography. It can be pushed or pulled by up to 3 stops with minimal loss of quality.
AgfaPhoto is the film photography spin-off of the much-bigger German corporation Agfa-Gevaert. It's film heritage stretches back to 1964 when it began producing B&W films aimed at the consumer market but was set up as a separate organisation in 2004 to allow the parent company to focus on other industries. Much smaller now than it's heyday in the 80s and 90s, Agfa is known for film that is affordable and reliable - and had a passionate following in Poundland until recently.

Love it!
Agfa is a great BnW film company and this role doesn't disappoint either. A bit like Agfa 400, but with lesser iso. Great for landscape photography.

Excellent detail
Just like AgfaPhoto APX 400, this one is equally brilliant film. I love all these small, visible details. Shadows, contrast, it's flexibility with any weather condition. Wonderful purchase.

Great contrast and grain
Definitely has distinctive look, which may suit some environments better than others, but for a strong contrasty look you can't beat it.

Fine grain, beautiful balance, great for graves!
I tried my first roll of APX 100 on a sunny day in January while in the wonderfully atmospheric Brompton Cemetery. I was delighted with the results - beautiful fine grain, a nice balance, capturing fine detail as well as producing punchy blacks. I shall definitely be shooting some more rolls.

Fine Grain
I really enjoyed using this, it has a nice fine texture/grain and the contrast was good.
