Punchy contrast with fine grain

I was lured in to this by reviews here and I wasn't disappointed at all - results exceeded expectations. Great contrast in evening light nd night-time. I really needed a man in a cape or a vampire but had to make do with Vauxhall station in the rain. Still, if you want to create a noirish ambience, this is a good film to try - I'll buy more for sure... when evenings draw in.

Potsdam from Lomo

I'm quite often drawn to trying out "new to me" emulsions, so buying a roll of this wasn't much of a stretch. It's 100 asa and I would say a good all round- all purpose film. It's moderately contrasty, perhaps a little more than FP4, grain is also about the same, but I'm not sure that it is as tolerant to under-exposure. When developed my roll was very flat (as in not curly) so was easy to scan. I'd suggest if you are well practised, and fancy trying something new - go for it. If you are about to try your first roll of B/W - I'd go for FP4 !

Warming silvery B&W

It just feels like the perfect B&W film for bright days when you want an image rich in details through sun and shade.

A very nice film indeed.

I love film stocks that have a lot of contrast and this is one of the nicest I have used. Now to be fair it works best with a decent amount of light but the results are definitely worth it. It has a lovely grain and is quite sharp .I liked it a lot.

Really cool, vivid shadows. Fun shooting experience. Would love to shoot in snow.
