Surprising Winter Film

I went into Wolfen NC500 with low expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised. The film exceeded what I anticipated, delivering a rich and dreamy film look in low light.

Didn't expect to love it so much

This was my first time using this film, and I was a little hesitant at first but it was the only roll I had left, and am so glad I did! These were taken on an autumn walk, and although you can't see the orange in the trees, the film and made such a moody setting, love this, will definitely use this film again!

Not my fav

Tones and colours were a bit too grey and was a bit disappointed in my pictures from Italy as this was the only roll I took :(

A nice discovery

It was my first time trying Orwo Wolfen NC500, and I was positively surprised by the results. I enjoy the colours it produces in different conditions, and I find the grain pleasing.

A good and rewarding film when you nail the exposure

All in all I enjoyed this film, which I decided to take on a recent trip to Germany and Austria. The dynamic range was fairly good, although not as good as some others I've used. I did struggle nailing the exposure in low light conditions with this film and lower light shots did introduce quite heavy grain. The colours are on the cooler side, however I did enjoy the more moody dramatic look this provided.
