It's okay, prefer the Ilford HP5 Plus

The Ilford XP2 disposable camera was easy to use just like the Ilford HP5, however I wasn't a fan of the end results as most of the images look underexposed even with the flash on. It seems to be that this disposable camera works better for outside shots or images using natural lighting, as my indoor images look extremely weak. The overall colour also doesn't look too appealing and I had to edit the colour tones on my phone.

It's alright

I gifted this disposable camera to my partner and he told me that he much more preferred Kodak Tri-X one. Because that one was much more sharper, with clearer black-and-white contrast. While this one was a bit more duller and too grey for his liking. Still, a pretty good thing to gift to amateur beginners.

Harmann B&W disposable

Struggled a bit to get used to this camera. Easy enough to use and probably good in different situations but just wasnt for my style really. Probably good as a carry around opportunist camera when opportunity knocks but sorry not for me.

4 stars

I always find XP2 has just a bit more character as a black and white film as opposed to more conventional BW films.

Convenient, good b+w film, decent quality

There's not much to say really. It's the exceptional XP2 film we all know and love loaded in a disposable camera. It's more compact than expected, but that's a good thing in my book. Very convenient to carry around and fun to use. Very happy with the purchase.

Great fun project!

These little guys are perfect for slipping into your pocket on the way to the beach, to a festival, to a party or a big day out. Comes with a flash so you can use it any time.

Good Fun

A great little camera to bring to holiday. It is very easy to operate, but better used in well-lit situations. Overall, the ease of use, from the point and shoot aspect, to the C41 processing makes it a very good choice for beginners and amateurs.

Bad experience

Largely disappointing experience with these so far. Bought two, one camera the flash wasn't working, the other stopped advancing after one photo. Must have been the most unfortunate order ever.

Perfect for travelling

I was going to get a fancy Polaroid but realised the replacing the photo papers would work out very pricdh so I opted for 3 of these for my 2 month trip to Mexico. You get about 30 pics in each camera. For all indoor photos you should use the flash to get clear photos. I absolutely love this camera! I've used it in a nightclub and got excellent photos from it that I've put up on my fridge. I also like that it's black and white as it looks more 'tidyer' hung up. 10/10 would recommend, Great value.

Perfect starter for me

I'm just learning so I thought I would try this as an entry into the B&W world. I LOVED it. Highly recommend.

Just tried one of these with the XP2 loaded in it. Think I have used it right , do I send to you for developing as normal? I can do b&w developing but it says C41 which is colour?

Analogue Wonderland

Oh lovely! Yes you can send it to us :-)
And you're spot on - XP2 give B&W results but needs colour chemistry to process it.

Hi, is this a disposable camera and if it is not, does thr camera show the pictures or do u have to have them printed before you can see them.

Analogue Wonderland

Yes it's disposable - so when you've taken the photos you send it off to a lab (like Digitalab https://www.digitalab.co.uk/film-processing/) and they can process, scan and send you the images
