Makes everything look a little spooky - great for bright day light particularly when capturing a silhouette against the sky.

I honestly didn't think I'd like this film as much as I do. It is probably not going to become a daily film for me, but I would like to try it again. Take note, there is a very big difference between shots on a bright/sunny day vs an overcast day.

Does what is says, it makes everything red. I don't regret shooting it. but I don't think I will again. I've enjoyed shooting Lomography's other experimental film stocks but this one just isn't as fun for me.

I know many people see some of the specialty films as gimmicky and I think when they are not used thoughtfully they can look weird. However, I really have fun with them and have enjoyed the results when I did use them in the right conditions. I really love Redscale films and the first roll I made with Lomography's version was great fun. I put it in a Holga camera and made some double exposures and "normal" photos. I loved the variety of tones within the different frames and the bright reds and yellows were perfect for my intentions. My only negative was a thin line through some of the frames but this could have been the camera or developing. I will know when I use it in a different camera. If you are bored or in a bit of a photo miasma I suggest you give it a try.

I haven’t been shooting film for a very long time but the photos I took with this film turned out great. Really high quality and lovely colours. Would recommend to anyone looking to experiment with different colours in their photography. (I used a Lubitel 2 TLR for the shots I’ve attached if anyone’s curious.)
