It's back again for 2026, welcome to the Biggest Concurrent UK Film Photowalk of the year!

What you will see with this ticket:
We'll start at POST in Industrial House by Hove Station, kicking off in the scruffy industrial backstreets around Conway Street- loading bays, signage, railway edges- with the new Moda Hove Central towers looming overhead for some hard architectural contrast right out of the gate. From there we'll cross the tracks and wind through residential Hove along Fonthill, Denmark Villas and Cromwell Road, settling into the rhythm of Victorian terraces and bay windows, before cutting into St Ann's Well Gardens for a green breather under the trees as well as a coffee/loo regroup in the park.
Out through handsome Regency Montpelier and up to Seven Dials, then we drop south past Brighton Station into North Laine- painted shopfronts, vintage stores, characters- and finally thread through the tight alleys of the South Lanes to finish with pints at The Eagle. Around 3.5 miles, expect 3-4 hours with a group of 35mm shooters, and the whole walk arcs from hard industrial through residential calm to green softness and ends in dense old-town texture, which makes for a genuinely varied roll of film.
Outside route, so service animals are welcome throughout. Happy to adjust pace, take extra breaks, or skip the cobbled Lanes section if needed — just let us know in advance or on the day. Bail-out points at Hove and Brighton stations if you need to drop off early.
Route is 5.6km over 3-4 hours. Mostly flat with one gentle uphill to Seven Dials. Cobbles in the South Lanes. Gets busy on weekends. Toilets at St. Anne's Wells Park (mid-walk) and The Eagle (end). Easy to bail at Hove or Brighton stations.

Due to the success of last year, we have created not one, not two but three options for tickets this year, so that people who don't shoot colour/35mm film - or who want to develop their film at home or with another lab - can still join the Walk and share the love of film together!

*Please note that these will be handed out by Photowalk Leaders at the start of the event and NOT sent out in advance
**Important notes on the included Film Processing package
The included development and scanning only applies if you hand the roll of film back to your Photowalk leader at the end of the event, for consolidated sending back to our lab. We expect you to have finished one roll of film during the walk, and probably be halfway through the second!
If you haven't finished your first roll of film at the end of the walk - or you want to send in extra rolls of film - then please place a separate processing order through our lab at your earliest convenience.
The development will be: Colour 35mm, Standard Scans, Correct and Rotate editing package. If you wish for different options for your film please talk to the lab after the event and they'll be happy to arrange, and charge for any difference.
You will have the opportunity to order prints from your film after seeing the scans - this service is not included in the development package.
†A Black Colour camera will be provided, though this is dependant on stocks and colours may vary on the day.
Competition
We will run a competition - judged by our partners - for the best film photo taken on the day 🏆 So please bring your creative minds and favourite cameras for a chance to win serious goodies.
