Horrible colour cast

These days, for me, film photography is purely about the experience and I particularly enjoy trying out new films or films I've never used before. CatLABS X FILM 100 fit the bill and, to be honest, I was attracted by the logo. Sadly, this is the first new film I've used that I really didn't like. The grain is noticeable but ok and the latitude is reasonable if not amazing. However, it is that very definite magenta (even pink) cast that I really don't like. The bluebells shown here were blue, not pink, and the photos of the Mersey Ferry, taken on an overcast day, just look murky. It's not a look I like at all.

Superb reds

Love the red hue of this film and in general the subdued tones of it fit the analogue aesthetic so well, it's one of my new favourites.

With its quality, I'm not surprised that it's sold out so quickly. I'm sooo mesmerized by the right amount of contrast for this film (bonus: the cartridge is metal and extremely cute!)

Brick-ish

It looks brick-ish. It has similar colour palette like a red brick. I don't mind that. Everything looked quite reddish, though.

Warm and contrasty

Love the warm colours and high contrast that this film achieves
