Stunning

An absolutely stunning film stock. I took it for a spin around Dovedale and Thorpe Cloud (in the peak district) on a sunny winters day and it did not disappoint. I've absolutely fallen in love with this film

Recommend for half frames

I've shot three or four rolls of Apollo, and never left a review before because I'm always left wanting by it and can't quite figure out why. I've used it in all sorts of different ways, lights, and situations and it's a nice film but not worth £9 for 18 shots.

That said, if you're shooting with a half frame camera then I would say it's absolutely worth it for the 36 shots you'd get. It's a nice, predictable, film and you'll definitely be getting your money's worth in that situation.

Moody day in Cornwall

Love the tones I got from this roll. Wasn’t sure what to expect shooting on a rainy day in Looe, Cornwall. A versatile film; would love to see it shot on a sunny day too.

I really like the colours of this film. I wish it had more shots that 18.

Great film would buy again

Really nice warm feel to this film, I used mine on a trip to Dorset ( uk ) in the summer and the pictures came out great. Will be buying again.

can we start a petition for more exposures?

went in with no expectation and just wanted to try something new - very pleasantly surprised with the grain and how well it did in (extra) gloomy 6am environment as well as indoors with a flash, big fan!

Only wish it had more exposures

I really enjoyed shooting with this film. I took it out on a partially sunny day during my holiday last May, and I am very pleased with the photographs I got; I find the colours very pleasing and lifelike, the only down side I can think of, is that it only has 18 exposures. I will surely buy it again

great roll for day trips

Picked this one up based on the sample photos as I love the look. It’s perfect if you’re more conservative with the amount of shots you take and you’re not sure what the weather might be like on the day. Performed well in both direct and indirect light and the colour profile is great. would 100% purchase for my next day trip.

Nice Colours!

Love the colours and the quality. It gave nice results in both sunny and cloudy weather.
Perfect for beginners and more experienced photographers too.

Didn't get on with it

I think a big issue is me and my skillset but yeah I really didn't get on with this film. It got stuck on the teeth and I had to open up the back thus over exposing everything

Took photos outside in the dark, thinking a medium speed 400 would handle it but...well you can see from the sample shots.

I'm sure others will get much better photos than me 😀

Apollo 18

Just shot a roll of Apollo 18, and wow, I'm impressed! The colors are the first thing that grabs you – they're vibrant without being over the top, with a subtle warmth that gives every shot a nostalgic feel. Reds and greens really pop, and even the more muted tones have a richness that I wasn't expecting.

Beyond the colors, this film has a beautiful grain structure. It's fine enough to keep details sharp but still noticeable enough to give your photos that classic film look. I found it performed really well in different lighting conditions, from bright daylight to more shadowy, indoor settings. It handles contrast nicely, preserving details in both highlights and shadows.

Overall, Apollo 18 is a fantastic film for anyone looking to add a bit of character to their photography. Whether you're shooting portraits, landscapes, or just everyday moments, it delivers consistently beautiful results. Definitely adding this one to my regular rotation!
