Decent Enough

As re-spooled Ektachrome this film offers a slightly more affordable slice of E-6. The colours do tend towards the cool side in normal day light but it does take a cracking sunset. The only real downside, and I assume this is to do with the re-spooling, are light leaks - particularly at the beginning and end of the film. Next time I shoot E-6, if I'm feeling flush, I might try a 'pure' Ektachrome for comparison but that said I'd still happily shoot this film again.

Pretty Good

The Film is pretty good for being £10 cheaper than Ektachrome! Most of my shots came out great but a few were prone to light leakages... Shot on my Canon A1 which has shot dozens of rolls of film without light leaks before. So expect that a few images may come out with undesirable leaks, this may be a result of this film being re-spooled.

Like drinking champagne from a plastic bottle

Ektachrome itself it's a beautiful film. To pay£30+ for a roll, not to mention developing and framing the slides, it's either for rich or addicted people.
Flic came with the compromise which gives us, the mortals, the possibility of playing in the big league without selling both kidneys. However, the canister it's awful from many aspects ( no DX, difficult to load/unload, difficult to extract the film). The random light leaks are not a big issue for an amateur but will definitely cause problems for professional work.5-6 frames had a lighter band at one of the ends. I developed at home with satisfactory results. I would choose the original one if the price would be around £25. Otherwise I'll buy again Flic film and will continue to experiment.
