Description

A festive treat for Analogue Wonderland customers!

Delivering beautiful contrast, high detail, and a fantastically sharp final image - the perfect film for crisp wintry walks or high-powered flash photography.

A panchromatic negative high resolution film, coated onto a transparent polyester base which dries super flat for easy scanning and storing!

Let It Snow also has a high-efficiency protection layer on top of its emulsion to prevent scratching.

Infrared Sensitivity

The spectral sensitivity of Let It Snow is expanded into the near infrared range of the energy spectrum. Its spectral sensitivity to up to 750 nm. Due to its very fine grain, its explicit detail rendering and its ability to be processed at low contrast, this film produces low grain and very low noise when scanned. The film should be handled in near to complete darkness.

Notes from "Let It Snow" shooter Leslie Lazenby:

"Let It Snow" has a thin polyester base, is panchromatic, is true 100 speed and dries super flat. I home-processed in Xtol stock - 7 minutes @ 68 degrees, 5 seconds agitation twice every minute. (Michael Raso's home process has been Kodak D-76 - stock - 6 minutes @ 68 degrees)"

Keep your film Light Tight!

This film stock is subject to "light piping" when exposed to room light. Please load in dim light and store in a dark camera bag before and after shooting. If storing your film in fridge, freezer or home shelf, store in a light tight bag as well.

About FPP

FPP is short-hand for the Film Photography Project: a US-based collection of projects headed up by the charismatic Mike Raso. They are most famous within the global film community for their podcast (entering it's 10th year in existence) as well as the associated School Camera Donation Program whereby donations are sought and sorted to bring analogue photography back into high schools and colleges all over the country.

Not only that but Mike also runs the FPP store which sells a multitude of analogue film products all over the US and hand-rolls a fantastic selection of unique films. We are honoured to bring some of those films to the European market and hope you enjoy shooting them as much as Mike has making them!

What a fine detail

I like how smooth but yet precise this film looks like. Barely any grain. Very clean black-and-white look.

Nice grain

It delivers such a nice and dramatic contrast. One more great addition to low iso black-and-white film family.

Wonderful for daylight

I love how contrasty it gets, when you shoot it during daylight, against the sun. When, all of its beauty comes out.

Let it snow

Got this in time for Xmas trip to the Peak District. Used it with a red filter and negatives came out with good contrast.
