A wonderful alternative option for Instax square

An excellent creative film that provides a satisfying alternative to the usual Instax square colour film. Provides a narrow dynamic range and high contrast. 800 iso

Fun to test out

Cool to try B&W instax. I definitely found some results came out more of a blue tone over b&w but cool in its own way and easy to edit scans to make more b&w of course. Just something to be aware of. I was a lot happier with results taken outdoors generally. Some came out very underexposed more than taking photos in the same light conditions with colour instax which I think overall I prefer. But that’s just personal preference! (Sample photos are edited results)

High contrast instant film.

Great option from Instax. I would say the black and white leans more towards a blue tone, but that can easily be fixed when digitizing. Will definitely be purchasing more of this.

Atmospheric, I enjoyed using this one

I enjoyed the results of the B&W film, it seemed quite sharp with strong contrast which I think looks really good. Although the instax square is quite small the speed it develops pushes it ahead of Polaroid for me

Instax Square Monochrome Instant Film

This was my first pack of instax square monochrome film, using it in a Fuji Instax SQ6. Overall, I'm very pleased with the look of this film. I shot in bright sunny conditions and the prints have a nice contrast, retaining better than expected detail. Even where highlights are a little blown it doesn't feel out of place, unlike the colour instax film where it usually looks terrible. I'm definitely going to order more as I think it's going to be a fun, creative, flexible film.
