pretty but probably better for landscape

unfortunately used this in low light and indoors when it’s probably suited to bright outdoor environments. it still got some nice photos but any grievances are mostly my fault.

Different in a rather good way

I didn't get the vivid colours the filmstock claims, what I did get was a very nice undersaturated colour palette with a distinct, yet controlled grain structure. The effect these two factors give is, at times, almost painterly.

It's not a stock for all situations at all, but it most certainly does have a place, and it's nice to see stock as experimental as this on the market. My only issue was that for a claimed 27 shots, I only got 26 from my Canon A1 (which is normally on the money in terms of frames per roll).

Not a great film

Having recently started up shooting film again, I'm having great fun with experimenting with all manner of different films - sadly I feel that this film won't be getting another purchase as it's a bit of a dud!

Not that much of a fan of the colours, saturation or how the images come out - but they definitely have a very particular aesthetic to them which you may be aiming for - otherwise would suggest giving it a miss

Much better than I expected!

I got this in a mystery box and having seen some reviews on YouTube, I wasn't expecting it to be much good. But I think going in with the knowledge that it does tone down the saturation and give an old timey golden glow means you can choose your subject to suit its capabilities. I went to the tall ships festival at Hartlepool and took photos around the garden etc. and I am very pleased with the results. I am just beginning (again) with 35mm film so there are some duff ones but that was me!

Not as vivid as expected

I took okay ish pictures with this, but it only became truly vivid in really bright sunlight which was a bit disappointing especially for a film that is 400 iso.
