This film soup film is manipulated before exposure to deliver stunning pink hues and specks of colour that add a creative touch to your film photography.
Fluorite is a ISO 200, 36 exposure 35mm film with DX coding, which can be developed using the C41 process. Important: This film is also available in ISO 400, in which other stockists may sell, so please be sure to double-check the packaging before shooting and sending off to the lab.
What is film soup?
Film soup films are 35mm films that are manipulated with a range of substances before exposure. The film is immersed fully in liquid before hand to achieve the best results, then dried out for use in the camera.
Important: Not all labs accept film soup films as they can damage other films and chemicals - whilst Hana uses natural ingredients, there's still a risk! As with any experimental film, the 'Fluorite' effects vary, making each roll unique. Factors like camera model, lighting, settings, and scanning influence the intensity and colour tones, offering a personalised result. Note that souped film negatives may be wavy from drying, so handle carefully when loading into your camera.
