Gorgeous film

I’m never disappointed with Hanalogital OR the fact that AW develops souped film. The colours in this film are exceptional and have produced some of my favourite washes so far. Would highly recommend!

Hanalogital Opal

Another fantastic experience with Hanalogital's Opal; I really love this soup recipe. I shot this roll entirely at Ardvreck castle, and it gave me a mix of wild petrol spill colours, and beautiful blue haunted tones.
All review images were shot on a blindingly sunny day, although I've found Opal performs very nicely in more overcast weather too.

Love it, as ever!

Sepia Magic

LM's review took the words out of my mouth - my results of Hanalogital's Opal is like looking at sepia photos through a pool of spilled petrol, and I love it!!

I shot this film on Halloween itself while on a Halloween trip to the Highlands, and it was just the perfect pairing. The sepia tones lend a timeless quality to the images, while the petrol hues add some serious magic.

There wasn't a single dud shot on my roll, and ever image had some of that great magic in it, without any being overwhelming. I already cannot wait to purchase another roll of Opal, and am eagerly awaiting it coming back in stock!! Until then I'll just be staring at these photos happily.

Opal is the perfect name. A lot of my images are came out sepia toned, almost like the colours had been sucked into oily puddles of wonderful iridescence. I probably messed up the scans to be honest, but it's a really fun film.
