Compact

The KMQ is a nice little hot/ cold shoe mounted light meter, I used it on my Voigtlander Vitessa, loaded the camera with Kodak Gold 200. It handled the sunny day in Margate very well, got the film back and the negatives were all exposed correctly.
The small buttons I found at first a bit fiddly, but after using it for a while they were okay.
I would recommend the KMQ, compact, nice design and accurate.
The Dreamland image has not been played with, it is a straight scan from Analogue Wonderland.

Compact, light and accurate

I’ve been using the KMQ for nearly a year and have found it to be perfect for my travel set up. I got it for my Leica iii barnack to help give me more accuracy and it was exactly what I needed, sitting neatly in the cold shoe and providing great results. I’ve since tested it side by side with a canon a-1 ttl meter and a Minolta cle ttl meter and found the results to match both camera’s internal meters.

A good little meter with one large flaw

Pros;

Well built
Compact
Accurate

Cons;

Turns itself off after 20 seconds or so; far too soon.

No manual; even a QR code to a PDF would have been fine but Keks doesn't publish one. Why? What are you achieving by this?

A nice meter let down by some simple flaws. By the time you take you set up your exposure, compose and take the photo it's turned itself off again. Not much use if you want to reframe or forget the settings. A frustrating flaw to be honest.
