I have been shooting super 8 for awhile and this is one of my first attempts with it. I didn't shoot at 500 iso. I actually shot this at 250 automatically with my camera (the highest it can shoot automatically). Result blew me away. It feels like something out of the past and not from modern times. Will buy this stock more!

I started shooting Super 8 films at the end of 2023, and as a photographer, I felt like ISO 500 was going to be far too slow a speed for low light situations - but boy was I wrong. 500T has an impressive response in extremely dim scenarios, like drunken parties. It is tungsten balanced, so you will want to use an appropriate filter for daytime use (unless you like the blue look).

There is no other option for this kind of work except 500T.

Surprisingly low grain profile when you consider the great latitude and sensitivity of the film. I did not test it under daylight conditions but it simply blew me away under tungsten light, fantastic for incredibly low light as well, I shot fireworks with outstandingly true colour and light reproduction

I picked up an old super 8 at the market and ordered the film from here just for a bit of experimentation.
Even during the pandemic, the film came really quickly and it's in mint condition.
