Better for Landscapes and Nature!

Ektar is more often used for landscapes and nature photography. However, depending on your preference, and shooting conditions, it can also work well for portraiture.
The film has quite a fine grain structure, and the colour saturation is very attractive.

Shuttleworth Collection

Nice vibrant colours on a par with reversal film in my opinion. Vintage aeroplanes and vehicles so also shot some BW film.

Impressed

Really impressed with colour range. Photos taken in November late afternoon/early evening. Very sharp and not particularly grainy. Nice details in shadows

Amazing colours

The colours are the most vibrant that you will find in any film. Sharpness is staggering - 35mm almost appears as sharp as medium format

First try on Ektar

I'm new to film. I really liked how the photos during the day turned out, a few early morning ones perhaps a bit flatter than I would like but will try again, as mentioned, new to film. Taken on a Praktica LTL3.
