Nice film for everyday shots

It's one of my favourites, it can push well if you can push in the lab.

Lovely film

I bought a lot of this film when I couldn't get Portra 400, and I was not disappointed. It doesn't have quite as bright colours, but it's a great quality film, especially on a sunny day.

Rome

Took a couple of rolls with me to Rome in May as I knew it was going to be pretty sunny, also ended up using it with flash at an event as I hadn’t quite finished the roll

Make sure you turn the lights on!

Portra 160 is a fave of mine and has got to be my go to for portraits in daylight. It’s got some lovely colour to it, fantastic detail and low grain. I’ve included some samples from my last roll which ended up getting quite warm in the car…despite this AND my SLR needing a shutter clean, I would say it did quite well. It’s certainly worth using if you’re heading anywhere in bright light that casts solid shadows, and where you’ll be able to catch a subject right in the middle…hot and sunny holidays abroad? Beaches and palm trees? You get my drift…

KO film

My favourite film, looks great indoors with a flash as well. Took it to the wrestling and it dealt really well with the skin tones and dingy lighting.
