Orwo Wolfen NC400 is a new ISO 400, 36-exposure colour film - an exciting addition to Orwo's expanding colour film lineup. Proudly produced in Bitterfeld-Wolfen, where film has been made since 1910, NC400 is built on a unique chemical formula inspired by the legendary Agfa stock used in Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves.
Please note: This latest batch of film is labelled with expiry date 03/2025, but Orwo have confirmed that due to a misprint error, the date should actually read 03/2026.
Similar to its sister Orwo Wolfen NC500, NC400 has finer grain, vibrant greens, desaturated shadows, and a more subtle grain - deliberate choices that define its distinctive look.
Orwo are creating an alternative film versus what's available in the market - something with different characteristics and a different palette.
