I'm sure there's a perfect use for this film - probably creative or abstract photography - but I haven't quite figured it out yet.

I purchased a roll of Revolog Echo on a whim, and then had no idea what to do with it for months. I ended up using it at the after party for my brother's wedding recently, and I think it was the right place for me to use it. It worked best with flash on, as the "echos" show up strongest on darker areas. So when it worked faces were less affected while the darker backgrounds had stronger echos.

But it doesn't always work as you hope it will - it's unpredictable, and sometimes the echoes are overwhelming and sometimes they're barely visible.

All in all, a fun film and one I'd recommend to anyone who fancies doing something a bit different and creative but not with shots of great importance.

Got this film in a mystery box, thought it might be good around Christmas, but then didn't shoot much around Christmas. As a film it is very hit and miss, sometimes in well lit scenes the patterns don't really add anything.
I can see it working better for indoor photography, probably with a flash and a dark background, but unless you get the balance right the effect can be underwhelming.

Great choice for creative and experimental photography!

Received this film as part of the WonderBox subscription and was excited to give something fresh and creative a go. I used a Minolta Dynax 404si and a handy light meter on my phone.

I've uploaded pics to show how light can impact the strength of the patterns - they tend to show up more when underexposed, or if there's a lot of shadow/darkness.

A very intiguing roll - I havent had any experience with this type of film but does have me thinking of where it would be applicable - perhaps shoots playing with hard shadows, or if out an about maybe a festival.

Although I wouldn't have immediately gone for a creative roll like this, i'm glad I tried it out :)
