Unexpectedly really good

I bought this as a bit of an experiment and was very pleasantly surprised. I shot these with a Canon 7 plus Canon 50mm f2.8 lens. I shot it at 100 ISO but I think that I could have shot it at box speed. These images have been lightly tweaked in Lightroom but they show an extremely fine grain and digital like detail. The colours are very natural (the out of camera colours are a bit cool).

Simply the best there is !!

As the title suggests, not only Silbersalz 200T but quite simply the entire Silbersalz range (50D, 200T, 250D, 500T) is THE BEST premium film stock you can buy, it covers everything from bright day light with the D models to dark night shots with the T models under fluorescent / artificial lighting (Street lights, Neon signs etc..) but that being said, I shot 200T during the day and because of the Tungsten layer under sunlight it gives a green hue to the images which depending on the setting transforms the images, so greens stand out more and appear more green / deeper, trees grass etc then opposing colours like the orange coat seen in the samples pop and stand out more against the background than on other film stocks, likewise in environments like the old train station the hue gives off an eary effect. As far as the film itself the entire range of Silbersalz is at its core Kodak vision 3 (Movie film) which is why the film is so good, lines and edges are crisp, colours are next to none, the fine detail is outstanding.... You get the point, if you can justify or afford the elevated cost it is well worth it, even if you kept a roll or two as a "just encase" for special moments or those once in a life time trips, there is no other film I would rather have...

I have submitted 2 reviews to demonstrate more images !

Great film for unique feel!

Shot mostly in the dark hand held and got some cool results! Definitely one to have for those creative shots and “cinematic” feel.

Nice film- need to use it again the proper light!

I took a roll of this to Texas, but ended up mostly shooting it during the day, where 250D would have made more sense. As a result, the shots were very cool in tone.
After I scanned them, I converted them using NLP with the Auto-warm white balance which neutralised out the coolness to a decent enough amount.
The end results are great, with good latitude, and fine grain, along with pleasing colour tones. Would certainly use again.
