Welcome to our latest competition in partnership with Kodak Alaris 🏆 This time we would like to see your photos taken on the excellent Kodak Tri-X 400 film.
Tri-X is a Black and White negative emulsion and is a truly legendary film. Kodak Tri-X emulsion was first introduced in 1940 in sheet film, making it over 80 years old! Tri-X can deal with a variety of lighting situations and recover highlights and shadows or generate different grain feel through processing choices.
You can enter this competition with images taken on Tri-X 35mm, Tri-X 120, or Tri-X Large Format - it is totally up to you!
If this is your first film photography competition then I offer you a very special welcome 🥳 And if you're curious about how Tri-X measures up to the famous Ilford HP5 then I'd encourage you to check out our article: Kodak Tri-X vs Ilford HP5
At Analogue Wonderland we love to help anyone and everyone find inspiration through film photography, and the aim of this competition is to celebrate your creativity and passion. We will be sharing some of our favourite images across our social platforms throughout the coming weeks so please get involved and support your fellow film shooters!
The competition is now CLOSED!
Keep an eye on our socials for winner announcements...
The competition goes live on Tuesday 23rd January 2024 and closes on Sunday 25th February 2024.
The images will be judged by a panel including a representative from Kodak Alaris and there will be two Grand Prizes available - although historically we can usually persuade Kodak to select a couple of Special Mentions as well 😅
The Grand Prizes will contain a selection of Kodak film and goodies, as well as a voucher for development with Analogue Wonderland.
