Kodak - properly known as Kodak Eastman - was founded in America in 1888 and dominated the "Western" world of photography for the next 100 years, constantly in fierce rivalry with the Japanese Fuji. Similarly to Fuji the advent of digital photography at the turn of the century caused significant financial problems. A late attempt to win in the compact market was hit by the rise of mobile photography and bankruptcy followed in 2012. Fortunately the photography business has survived under the Kodak Alaris name - based in Hertfordshire, England - and they have delighted the analogue industry by pledging continued support for film production and the promise of bringing back old favourite emulsions.

How Does the Bundled Developing Work?

To make your analogue adventures even easier (and cheaper!) we’ve implemented the option to pre-pay for your processing when you buy your film. When you have shot the film - whether that takes you a day, month or year - you generate the free tracked postage label by following the simple instructions from the email, and pop it in the post with a note of your original order number. We’ll do the rest!

So buy the bundle and relax into the shooting process, knowing that you’ll get to see the final results from your photography, without having to reach for your wallet again.

Incredible film for just about everything.

Now that Fuji 400H is dead, Portra 400 is basically a no-brainer for medium format colour shooters. Excellent skin tones, rich, warm, perfecto.

My go to 400 speed film! I’m always so impressed by the gorgeous colours and dynamic range of this film. Super fine grain and applies beautifully from portraits to landscapes. It is very forgiving in terms of exposure and produces great results each time I try it! :)
