Just Beautiful

Sharp, tiny grain, stunning skin tones. While I prefer the flexibility of 400 speed colour film this is a no brainer when the available light is there. The perfect summer film.

Versatile but boring

Portra 160 has a high dynamic range and is pretty forgiving of overexposure.
I was a bit disappointed on getting my roll back as I found the colours flat and lifeless. If you want fidelity, it's a great choice, but the pictures just have no life to them. It felt like a very expensive way to take photos that just look digital.

Perfect for travel photography

The Portra range is definitely my favourite now and my most trusted, to achieve exactly what I want. It always produces subtle but dreamy like colours, with amazing tones. I always find that editing can start to take away the qualities of the image so I never have to do too much editing with this film stock, which I love!

Dreamy Colours

These ones I will show of my nephew because they are so fantastically nostalgic feeling even if they were taken last September. Great colours and tones, really lovely! Definitely a favourite in my photo albums.
