A good all rounder, with unique characteristics.

I really like this film, it's a strange one though because I have vivid memories of strongly disliking the images but when I go back to them they're all very reasonable.

The film demonstrates great sharpness, a generally good exposure latitude and pleasant but very noticeable grain. There's also some quite nice blooming under certain circumstances, it possibly looks like either no anti-halation or they're experimenting with it a bit.

It's a really really decent film, it covers all the basics and I would happily shoot it again. However, while it is a good film stock it's not an amazing film stock and if I'm going to shoot a particular subject then there's a good chance that there's a better film stock for it and if it's a general purpose film stock I'm after, then there are cheaper even more all rounders to choose from like Kentmere 400.

Perfect for street photography

Pretty cheap & yields some really great results - nice balance on contrast & grain.

Great film

I tend to shoot street photos mostly and was worried that this film wouldn't work very well because of the low iso but it was absolutely fine! I really like the graininess I got in my photos. I don't develop my own film so can't say what it's like to develop and scan. It' comes in a cool box and the roll has some nice graphics on it that made me want to shoot it!

Lovely film

I really like this film. The packaging is beautiful and, being old enough to remember the moon landings, is very evocative.

Even the tape that secures the film to prevent it unspooling has a cosmonaut with a camera on it.

The kosmo foto mono film gives great negatives that dry flat and scan easily, so really good for beginners. It works well with the pixl-ator too, from that point of view.

I'm very pleased with the results.

Comes in a sweet box

There is no real issue with this film except it's Fomapan. For the sake of a few extra pounds and a nice box do you need to go there. The film is fine and has some charming characteristics but for film sake... why? Definitely for hipsters...
