Favourite colour 120 film

Although I'm pretty new to film photography, this is probably my favourite color 120 film I've shot so far, the colours came out how I wanted and in the sunny weather, the shots looked warm, im looking forward to trying some street portraits with it.

Nice colours and price

Not used and developed colour film in years, bought a three roll pack as it was reasonably priced to give it another go, was pleasantly surprised at the colours that came from it, the photo's are from the second roll rerolled to go through a kodak Brownie Flash 111

First time using this camera film size and film make

Colours are accurate to how it looked on day, it was a grey day with a little rain. Pleased with results using a lubitel 166b for first time. Would use this film again and recommend.

Good value for price tag

Remarkably sharp, even if a little grainy for my taste. A decent alternative to the more "fancy" brands out there.
P.S. Not sure if this image was son the 100 or 400 speed film, sorry! 😬

Fond of the sun

Took me a little time to get to know the strengths with Lomography Colour Negative on 120 roll. Sharpness is good with quite tight grain. There is a warmth to the results and this doesn't always seem to suite sunrises with slightly moody skies, but is quite nice with low sun in the evening somehow. In strong sunlight the film seems to deliver a crisp look with quite saturated colours. Greens seemed quite strong. I cant find a preset for my scanner, so I can't be totally sure of how colours are being affected. In my view this is a good film, well suited to bright sunlight and will handle verdant greens in landscapes well. It reminds me of Fuji films with the colours. I have shot it through a Mamiya C220, and an Agifold and I have just taken another roll out of the Agifold. I am quite keen to try it at night. I will certainly buy again as the price is quite good and results seem good for sharpness and saturation.

Great colours at a good price

This is the first time in a while that I have used colour negative film. I have to say I like this film, it has smooth grain, great tonal range and lovely colours. Added to, the film is very forgiving, I rated it at 50 ISO to increase saturation of colours and in two instances I double exposed frames and still got beautiful results. Lomography have reduced the price of the colour 100 negative film, so this makes it a bit of a bargain. If the price stays competitive it will be a film that I will use again.

Lomography 100

This was my first attempt at developing c41 colour films. I wasnt sure how it would turn out but quite pleased with the results. It seemed to have a bit of a vintage look to me with the depth of colour it gave. Not sure if this will be my go to colour film after I try a few but it wouldnt be a problem for me if it was.Gave a really nice aged look to the photographs I thought.

Nice!!

In this ever increasing struggle to get the main brand (as I know it) Colour film, I purchased some of this brand, and I was not disappointed, I like the colour rendition especially for landscape, and flower photography, I will definitely order more.

Stunning Long Exposure Low Light

The grain is so fine and the colour reproduction is excellent, works well for long exposures, just as it does in bright natural daylight.

My new go to for Colour 120 photography

I've been a stalwart fan of Kodak Ektar 100 for as long as I've been shooting film but with the recent price hikes putting it a little beyond my budget for regular shooting I thought I'd try out some Lomo 100. I've been very happy with the results, it gives me a nice warm colour for my images on a sunny day, which is exactly what I want from an ISO 100 film. I've been shooting a long term project with Ektar and have been happy enough to switch to this instead.

Surprisingly good colours

Really did not expect too much from this film but I was surprised how vivid the colours where. Whether using this for landscapes or portraits I will definitely be buying it again.

A Nice Low ISO Colour Film

Lomo 100 is my go to 120 film for casual shoots that need to be in colour. 120 has few colour options in any case (especially low ISO options) and Lomo 100 is great compared to the price point. The colours are much punchier then Kodak's Portra films which is understandable as it's not a secret that Lomo 100 is a rebranded Kodak consumer film. It's a characterful film that does exhibit much more contrast then the aforementioned Portra line. To correct this, I sometimes pair Lomo 100 which a diffusion filter when shooting portraits to flatten the contrast and make the image more usable in scanning. Lomo 100 is not a film I ever scan at home due it's thin base that often encourages Newton Rings.

Overall, a really solid film with good flexibility, colours and price in 120.

Lovely colours, could be wound tighter!

Lovely colours produced, however it did seems to be wound a bit loose! Had to very quickly jump into the cupboard under the stairs to stop the film getting ruined from light leaks! Aside from that good solid colour film!
