EZ400 is a new offering and the first from the 'New Classic' company co-owned by our friend Ribsy 😍
Their vision is to help create a more sustainable film photography practice, and EZ400 is the first step: packaging an existing emulsion in a more sustainable way that minimises plastic use. But this is just the start of their plans...so if you agree with their goals then please support the venture!
Description
EZ400 is a panchromatic black and white negative film that delivers beautifully retro yet sharp images. When rated at box speed, EZ400 yields contrasty images that retain plenty of detail in the highlights, with lightly subdued shadows. Suitable for all light conditions, EZ400 is versatile and capable.
Please note that EZ400 doesn't have DX coding.
EZ400 has visible and charming film grain. Your images will never be mistaken for a digital image because of the film's natural character.
If you prefer additional detail in your shadows, and some attractive blooming in your highlights, you can also expose EZ400 rated at ISO 200, without altering the standard development times (for ISO 400).
You can pull or push processing EZ400, exposing it at 200, 800 or 1600, and adjusting development accordingly. This will definitely alter the look of your final images compared to standard development, but hey ... you may like it even more!
Packaging
The container used to protect and store your EZ400 35mm cassette is made of kraft paper. The canister is sturdy and strong, yet lightweight. Best of all, theEZ400 containers are fully recyclableas part of a typical cardboard recycling program!
When you buy your camera film from us we can ship it across the UK, Europe, USA, New Zealand, Australia and Canada (more countries planned soon!) So buy your New Classic EZ400 today and dive back into the fun of 35mm film photography!

Good all round film at a good price. A mixture of buildings and people taken in really good light. Happy with the sharpness and the contrast, not too grainy and the pictures were good at creating memories that were especially interesting in B&W.

Nice all purpose black and white with a characterful grain
Liked this one. I home developed in DF96 and the results came out great. Shot it on a MJUII in Wales & really liked the atmospheric results. Lots of grain but I like that :-)
