Just recently wanted to shoot some 35mm film

Just recently wanted to shoot some 35mm film after a long break, mostly because I wanted to shoot 100ISO handheld (what would not be possible with 120 format and large cameras) and oh God I was surprised how good this film delivers. A truly classic emulsion

One of the best

Sharp, almost grainless, consistent and reliable. Photographs look great straight out of the camera and need very little tweaking. They have that period look that is most appealing about B&W photography and yet this is clearly a very sophisticated modern emulsion. It must be very forgiving because every image comes out as intended; with many other emulsions I find I am fighting against the limitations of the film. I've used RPX400 previously, which I also like a great deal and would recommend. This 100 ISO version is simply a little more refined and it still seemed to work pretty well in darkish museum interiors. Both are quickly becoming my go-to film stocks for B&W photography. Highly recommended!

My first Rollei RPX100 film

I used this for the first time in a camera which I was unfamiliar with so I wasn't sure what to expect. When I looked at the negatives I was really pleased. The film handled well in a range of lighting conditions and the images have good contrast and tonal range. I will definitely be buying Rollei RPX100 again.

Military Vehicles

A good BW film for heritage WW2 vehicles as most original photos from that time were BW.

Very impressed

Exposed properly, this film has a pleasant, classic look which I think would work nicely for portraits and such. It's a bit on the grainy side for a 100 speed film, so maybe not so good if there's a lot of fine detail in the photo you don't want to lose, but that's a minor quibble.

Great for the Gothic vibe

This product was just what I needed for my Munich trip around Germany. Made the scenes so much more dramatic. Will purchase again for similar photography!

Great results in challenging light

I shot a whole roll of this when visiting the Powązki cemetery in Warsaw. The light was challenging with heavy tree cover but the results were lovely with a great range of tones, super blacks, and fine grain. I would suggest giving it a little more light when you can.

Excellent film at affordable price.

Great film with exceptional contrast. When scanning the film stays very flat. I develop in Ilfosol 3 with fantastic results.

Rollei RPX 100

The photos were taken with an 80's Olympus AZ1-Zoom without flash. I particularly like the contrast and shadow. The conditions probably weren't right for an 100 ISO film but overall I think that the effects are pleasing.

Good alrounder

Never used this film before and was pleasantly surprised especially at its at the cheaper end of the spectrum.
Grain is nice, being present, but still quite fine and it captures shadows well.
