Very pretty, high price

As a beginner I found that I struggled to make the most of the stunning contrast this film offers especially considering the price point. I might try it again once I have more experience!

Beautiful colouring and contrast

I really enjoy Santa Color and it has quickly become a favourite of mine. The colour rendition, contrast and general quality of the images it produces is amazing.

I find it easy to shoot with and have to do minimal editing of the scans to achieve results I am happy with. Definitely a great film to play with.

Greenry

This is nature orientated film. Colour beautifully pop out in wilderness themed pictures. BONUS POINTS: take pictures of it with animals with it.

A beautiful surprise!

I picked up a roll of SantaColor on a whim and was totally blown away by the beautiful colours of this film. It works beautifully for outdoor, landscape shots with lots of light and performed well when pushed to ISO 400. Be aware that the colour palette leans towards greens and reds. I love the way this film has transformed the most simple of scenes with its unique, vintage colour tones. I will definitely be using SantaColor 100 again and would highly recommend to others!

Loved the colours, but likely to depend on personal preference

I bought this film to take on a trip to Vancouver Island - I thought that the emphasis on reds and greens would work very nicely with the west coast in the summer (pushed to ISO 200). I really loved how my photos turned out, but it does have a particular look that will likely depend on individual preference - the browns, reds, and green tones were emphasised, but depending on the light, were sometimes dramatic and sometimes beautifully muted. I noticed that the shadows tended to be green-toned and the highlights reddish - a bit like halation.
