I have reverse wound numerous colour films over the years to make redscale and I love it. I usually over expose by a few stops and this tends to shift the tones to the yellow end of the scale which I much prefer.
So when I exposed this roll of FPP Redscale in my LCA I did so at the box speed of ISO 25 thinking that maybe this was a 100 or 200 speed film and I would get the same, lovely yellow tones.

I chose a day in the late summer when the sun was out and we had headed out to Old Hunstanton beach in Norfolk where I knew there were some photogenic beach huts and dunes. And I snapped away.

I finished the roll on a walk out of the village.

Developed in Cinestill C41 2 step powder chemistry with continuous agitation in a Jobo tank.

What can I say, if you want a great looking redscale film and cant or dont want to make your own then go for this.

I took it to a forest nearby to try it out and wow. Such a wonderful roll of film that I’ll certainly order again and keep in my bag for special wanderings!

Really great range of vivid reds, oranges and yellows, didn't really know what to expect as I have never used redscale before but I shot a roll through an old Canon EOS300 and I was very pleased with the results. I did not try super low light conditions, although it did perform fine in the woods etc. Most of my images were taken in bright daylight/full sun.
