There was nothing particularly wrong with the results I got (from a Yashica 635) with this film, it just didn’t really blow me away. Good tones, reasonable grain, but better 100ISO offerings in my opinion.

Good value 120mm film, perfect for anyone

Let me get the caveats in at the start. Fuji GL690, Yellow filter, rated as 50 ISO (to account for the filter), developed with some old open bottles of Exactol Lux that have been lying around for about 15 years (seriously). Straight out of the tank, the negatives look great. Good range of tones and they look really sharp. DSLR scanned, inverted and some edits in Lightroom show a nice grain structure, making them easy to edit.

Wouldn't say it's dramatically different from my usual go-to film FP4. Would happily use it for everything.

Really like the detail in this film, good contrast and mid tones are excellent. Will definitely be in my shopping cart in the future.

Fine grain / holds dynamic range really well / great blacks - like it.

This was a bit hit and hope. I ran this film through an old Vitomatic ii. I may have over exposed it slightly simply because my previous test of the meter suggested it was under exposing but now I am not so sure. This was also the first film I ever developed, choosing to process it in caffenol c-m. The negs were dark but there was plenty of detail and it is certainly more contrasty than Foma 100. I am about to order a roll of 120 for my TLR. I will be working much harder to expose it properly.

I tried this out in my newly acquired Kiev 6C and rated the film at 25asa. It was developed in Rodinal for 5 min 15 sec. The images are contra sty and show grain. This may be because of the way I developed this film. It is a film I may come back to and try at rated speed with a different developer

Pleasant enough (though only shot a few rolls to date) but seems to have a problem with drying flat, which means either rectifying the curl or a much slower scanning experience)

I'll start off by saying that I'm a bit biased when it comes to Rollei film. I love the contrast, the tonality and the punch it gives my photos. It's also very clean. However, until now my experience had been with the Rollei Retro films (both 80 and 400), so wasn't sure for certain what I'd get back from the RPX.

At first, the scans came back looking way overexposed which concerned me. If I had deliberately overexposed then I would have expected it but I metered at box speed (unless I set the wrong ISO on my meter - not unheard of!). However, I need not have worried because I pulled that exposure right back down to where it should be with lots of lovely contrast too. Yum. This film has a lot of range.

I really quite like this. Stunning contrast but still with a lot of detail in the shadows. The examples I've posted her are quite contrasty but there was even more detail in some of those blacks if I'd wanted to pull more out. Nice!

I wasn't expecting much out of this, as had heard it's a decent middle of the road kinda film. However, after shooting box speed and developing in HC-110 Dilution B, I was rather blown away. It has an attractive and moody tonality that makes images look almost vintage, medium contrast that is easily manipulated, very little grain, and dries completely flat in little time. It has become my go to film for general daylight shooting.

I have only shot one roll of this film so far, so this a brief, preliminary review. I used a 6x9 format camera (Fotoman 6x9), and developed in E76 (the ascorbic acid version of D76). Results are excellent; negatives look clear and crisp and the film holds a lot of detail and has very fine grain. It has an excellent, smooth tonal range holding both good shadow and highlight detail. Rivals Delta 100 in technical quality.
