Nice Tones and Contrast

Really liked this film. Run through a Nikon FE, it behaved perfectly, and after developing in a Paterson Tank (Ilfosol 3 1+9, timings from the Cinemot website for ID11 used) it dried really quickly.

I know that might be an odd thing to mention, but I had a similar experience with some Rollei 200, and it just pleases the impatient side of me that wants to get to scanning.

Nice, smooth, tones. Fine-ish grain that let's you know it's a film shot, without intruding, but enhancing.

I've got another roll in the drawer, so just deciding when to treat myself...

yummyness

Well dingdong Cinemot, this is a lovely film, great tones quite forgiving, maybe a little fiddly to handle its quite thin, but with pratice well worth the trouble. 8 out of 10 for sure. Give it a go.

Nice tones, lots of contrast, but exposure can be tricky

I really liked the tones in some of my shots from this roll I tested. It would be a great film for someone who really likes contrast, although the contrast in some lighting was too strong for my preference. I also found it more difficult than usual to get the exposure right, so I'd recommend being careful with light metering what you want to show most clearly. I particularly felt it suited the more street and architectural shots I took. Good for the price!

Great film love how it looks

Great for contrasting light. Nice black and white to shoot with! If it’s bright I’d probably under expose it 1 - 2 stops.
