Halation for days
120 is sharp with nice signature Cinestill halations. Not sure if it is physically possible to shoot anything but petrol stations with this film, so examples are of a petrol station in Leicestershire shot at 400iso and developed normally.

Halations better at 120
I find the halations at 35mm too distracting but more manageable at 120 6x7!

interesting but challenging
interesting results with and without the recommended filter; if you experiment enough it is possible to use this film in daylight I tried utilising both morning and evening golden and blue hours without the filter and results were mostly keepers.
this film is not for beginners and shines in low light situations, be ready for various halos if you include sources of light or objects that reflect a lot of light including greasy shiny skin! it is an interesting experimental film for underwater photography, if you are looking to enhance reds, and render the sea beautifully azure.

Hope you like halation
When shooting at night this is the go to but only if you like halation. Otherwise you'll hate it. I love the cinematic look but the only downside is the price. If you want a high speed, tungsten balanced film in 120, this is simply the only choice. You have to try it at least once.

Best film stock ever?!
Honestly, this is my go to film stock because you can shoot it at night AND in the day (400iso) it’s such a capable film. I love it
