EKTAPAN 400 is the world's sharpest and finest grain 400 speed black-and-white film. The higher sensitivity allows for faster shutter speeds and better low light photos. Available in 135 (35mm) and 120 Medium formats.
Featuring a T-Grain emulsion, the EKTAPAN family utilises flat, tabular silver halide crystals that enhance light absorption and maintain a low grain appearance - resulting in higher resolution and sharpness compared to traditional cubic-grain films. This structure provides a "clean" look with high contrast, distinct edges, and reduced texture.
Available in 135 (35mm) and 120 (medium format), the EKTAPAN family supports a range of photographic needs including general, architectural, portrait, landscape, and commercial photography where maximum detail is required.

About Kodak
Kodak - properly known as Kodak Eastman - was founded in America in 1888 and dominated the "Western" world of photography for the next 100 years, constantly in fierce rivalry with the Japanese Fuji. Similarly to Fuji the advent of digital photography at the turn of the century caused significant financial problems.
