🤔 Strange

This film (400 & 800) both seem to have very similar characteristics to 400d & 800t.

It's strange that years were spent in R&D and coming up with such similar tones.

Also made in France? Not sure about that, I can't think of to many film producers there.

Maybe made in Rochester NY and re-rolled in France.

Of course I maybe wrong about it being Kodak Vision 3 with the remjet removed.

With so many "new" films coming to the market, it's so hard to tell, if only manufacturers told us where it came from.

Mira 400 Review – Realistic with a Punch

Mira 400 has a lovely balance—realistic colours, but with a bit of punch that makes images feel vibrant without going over the top. Reds really stand out (sometimes a bit too much, with some detail loss in very bright areas), while greens and browns look natural and earthy. There’s a soft glow in brighter spots, especially around the sky and highlights, which gives a slight dreamy feel without being too obvious. It also handles flash well—I was impressed with how skin tones came out. I did notice a few light patches on my roll, possibly from the film counter window on my EOS 30, so it’s probably worth taping it up. Overall, it’s a versatile film that’s great for everyday shooting—natural, colourful, and with just enough character to keep things interesting.
